Unfortunately, no. Scholarships are non-transferable, and may not be combined.

What time will the MVA program begin on July 14th?

The MVA orientation meeting will begin at 8:00am.

When do you suggest arriving and departing Las Vegas if we are participating in the MVA program?

We suggest arriving on July 13th, and departing on July 21st. The MVA orientation meeting will begin at 8:00am on July 13th, and we anticipate the Gala coming to a close around 11pm on July 20th.

Can a MVA participant compete a solo in the Season Finale competition, as well as the MVA solo competition?

MVA dancers may compete in both the MVA solo competition and the Season Finale competition, if they are attending with a studio of 15+ students or competing in a group number.

*A dancer does not need to attend with a studio of 15+ dancers, or compete in a group number to compete a solo in the MVA competition.

Can MVA dancers compete the same solo for the MVA competition and the Season Finale competition?

If a student is competing in both the MVA solo competition, and the Season Finale competition, they must compete 2 separate solos.

Can MVA dancers participate in the performance with the Musical Artist if he/she does not have a solo to compete in the MVA solo competition?

No, it is mandatory that all MVA dancers to compete a solo in the MVA competition. MVA dancers must participate in all aspects of the MVA Program (solo competition, auditions, classes, headshots, rehearsals) to participate in the Musical Artist performance at the Gala.

Does a MVA solo need to pre-qualify in order to compete in the MVA solo competition?

No, a MVA solo does not need to pre-qualify to compete in the MVA solo competition, even if that solo did not compete at a regional event.

What does the MVA audition consist of?

This audition will be composed of a ballet, jazz, and hip-hop portion. This is not an audition to perform with our Musical Artist.

If a student is part of the MVA program, do they need to audition again to perform with the Musical Artist?

No, once a student has received the MVA Runner-Up or MVA scholarship at a 2017-2018 regional city and he/she is able to participate in the full MVA experience (MVA Solo, MVA Audition, MVA Headshots, Rehearsals, Convention Classes).
