Sophia began dancing at the age of 3 in Miami, Florida. She trained under the direction of Katerina San Juan at SJ Dance Company, where she is now currently teaching and choreographing at. Sophia started attending conventions and competitions at the age of 7. In 2012, she attended her first Velocity Convention. In 2018, Sophia was chosen to become a part of Velocity’s MVA(+) training program and was later chosen to become an MVA Pro in 2019. Sophia represented Velocity as their Teen MVA National Winner in 2018 and their Senior MVA National Winner in 2022. Sophia is currently working as a Pro Assistant with Velocity. Sophia has performed with Ava Max, Todrick Hall, Now United, Hailee Steinfeld, Jordan Fisher, and Madison Beer during various Season Finale’s with Velocity. She also participated in the Now United music video, Crazy Stupid Silly Love.
